Position Summary:

 

The Director of Off Premise is a leader responsible for developing and executing the strategic direction of the restaurant company’s Off Premise operations. This role oversees all aspects of the Off Premise business, including curbside, delivery, digital ordering, packaging innovation, and guest experience. The Director will drive growth, operational excellence, and brand consistency across all channels, ensuring a seamless and elevated guest experience that aligns with the company’s brand strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Off Premise strategy aligned with the company’s long-term growth objectives.
  • Identify emerging trends in Off Premise and integrate innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align Off Premise initiatives with broader business goals, including marketing, technology, and culinary development.
  • Partner with third party partners to identify and maximize promotional opportunities within the platform. 
  • Determine appropriate investment level and paid and promotional campaigns

Operational Excellence

  • Lead the design and execution of scalable Off Premise operations across all locations.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure high performance in speed, accuracy, guest satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Partner with training and operations teams to ensure consistent execution and team readiness.

Technology & Innovation

  • Oversee the integration of digital ordering platforms, mobile apps, and third-party delivery services.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to streamline operations and improve the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with IT and digital teams to enhance user interface and backend systems.

Guest Experience & Brand Integrity

  • Champion a guest-first mindset, ensuring that the Off Premise experience reflects the brand’s hospitality standards.
  • Innovate packaging and presentation to maintain food quality and brand appeal.
  • Gather and analyze guest feedback to continuously improve service and satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing to develop campaigns and promotions that drive Off Premise sales.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness of Off Premise materials.
  • Coordinate with Finance to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and optimize margins.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in restaurant operations, with a focus on Off Premise or digital dining.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning and execution in a multi-unit environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with digital platforms, third-party delivery, and customer experience design.
