Summary / Overall Purpose
Red Lobster is seeking a Sr. HRIS Systems Analyst to join our HR Technology team. The role is responsible for maintaining/updating /configuring our HR technology systems, collecting data for reporting creation and system change request, creating and maintaining technical documentation, and implementing new requirements to existing systems. In addition, the Sr HRIS Systems Analyst collaborates with leadership and IT for software implementations and proactively recommends system improvements for the optimization of the performance of our HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily HRIS operations, including system access, maintenance administration and system integrity for all HR systems (PeopleSoft, iCIMS, Cornerstone, etc.)
- Provides systems support including HR systems administration, HR systems security, PeopleSoft table maintenance, assistance with data requests, report creation (Oracle SQL query tools), and technical documentation.
- Perform regression testing associated with system upgrades in test and QA environments to ensure the end system integrity and upgrades meet the needs of the users prior to applying them to production environment.
- Ensure Oracle SQL queries are functioning optimally.
- Ensure the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics from HRIS systems.
- Identify and analyze issue trends while analyzing HRIS system performance metrics to help resolve application issues.
- Maintains departmental KPIs.
- Proactively recommends and drives system improvement by analyzing table structures, table data, and integrations.
- Manages medium to large projects and clearly articulates statuses on deliverables.
- Participates in gathering and review of requested system configuration changes and reporting needs. Helps user community in development of business requirements as needed.
- Participates in development of new software solutions and their integrations with existing systems.
- Assists in helping to develop new training for system upgrades and new features for end user groups.
- Works collaboratively with HR Technical Team to build knowledge base and achieve strategic team goals.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, including systems configurations, issue troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated project management skills for medium to large sized projects and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability to support and implement efforts to standardize, optimize and simplify processes and technical solutions.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM
- Understanding of API and SSO functionality
- Strong Excel proficiency
- Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience in HRIS.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience of HRIS business analysis administering and/or supporting enterprise HR technology systems and integrations.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in writing Oracle SQL queries.
